Radio personality Anele Mdoda has come up with her very own ‘sister code‚’ which is made up of a set of rules involving friends and their lovers.

Guys have a ‘bro code’ which they all swear by — remember the line ‘bros before hoes.’

Even though there’s been the odd occasion where guys have broken the bro code‚ the majority swear by it and live their every day lives according to it‚ especially where their friends’ lovers are concerned.

Anele feels like it’s time women also have a code which sees ‘sisters’ stick together.

According to Anele here’s the rules that need to be adhered to in the sister code...

1. You may not ask my man‚ boyfriend or husband for a lift. There is Uber‚ this is 2016.

2. You may not dish up for my man at a braai- if I’m not there he can dish up for himself. The only three people that are allowed to dish up for him is his mom‚ me and the waiter.

3. Do not be a cougar to my younger brother‚ that’s not on.

4. If you’re mutual friends and one of them steals the other one’s man‚ you have to pick a side. Either the victim or the hoe. You can’t be friends with both.

5. If I’m telling a story in front of you and other people are there and I add in a little bit of spice‚ you can’t come out and correct me and show everyone that I’m elevating the story. Girl you have to have my back‚ and be like‚ yeah and we were all there.

“I hope that these five will help you in future‚” Anele added.
