Pin your love onto our tree

Love is in the air and your favourite daily read would love to “pin” it down for you and your loved ones this weekend.

The Daily Dispatch is encouraging its readers to express their love by having notes with the names, symbols or number plates of their loved ones pinned on our Tree of Love.

The notes will be published in Saturday Dispatch and be pinned to trees in James Pearce Park, off Epsom Road in Stirling, East London.

Daily Dispatch sales manager Tiny Koaho says the idea of the campaign is to revive the spirit of Valentine’s Day among couples.

“These pins will be printed in A4 size and laminated. We encourage those that have advertised to view the pins and take photographs. We are also using this opportunity to engage with advertisers and socialise.”

A Dispatch team will give the first 10 couples to arrive a special gift pack. “Photos will be taken between 10am and 11am and be uploaded onto the Dispatch’s Facebook and Twitter sites.”

Pins can be bought for R100 at our counters in Triple Point Beacon Bay, 1st floor at Spargs Superspar or at 35 Caxton Street.

To advertise your love pins contact the classified department on 043-743-4343 by 10am today. — mbalit@dispatch.co.za
