Sammy Sosa gets backlash over #BlackGirlsRock comments

TV and radio personality Sammy Lehoko‚ popularly known as Sammy Sosa‚ has come under fire by Twitter users‚ over comments she made about popular international movement #BlackGirlsRock.

The new Power FM personality took to Twitter on Monday evening to express her thoughts on the popular movement Black Girls Rock‚ suggesting that people who were riding on the fame of the movement were “useless.”

“Some girls are actually super useless. WOW! Like that #BlackGirlsRock thing that trended over the weekend was just abused‚” Sammy tweeted.

The tweet was quickly deleted by Sammy but screen grabs of it was shared among users on the social media site‚ quickly making the comment one of the most talked about topics on the platform.
