TV stars Somizi Mhlongo and Thando Thabethe have been unveiled as the hosts of the annual South African Music Awards (SAMAs) which takes place this Saturday.
All roads lead to Durban this weekend for the prestigious music awards ceremony‚ which aims to honour the achievements of Mzansi’s musicians.
Somizi and Thando will lead the pack of star-studded personalities who have been billed to present the glitzy ceremony.
They will be joined by actress Khanyi Mbau and radio personality Phat Joe in the Amstel Green Room‚ who will be doing interviews with winners‚ just minutes after they claim their awards.
And to make sure that fans don’t miss out on all the red carpet action‚ which the SAMAs has also become renowned for — Bonang Matheba‚ Pearl Modiadie and the hunky Lunga Shabalala will have the red carpet festivities covered for the night.
The 22nd annual SAMAs stage will be set alight with performances by the likes of Kwesta‚ Emtee‚ DJ Bongz and The Muffinz.
It all happens this Saturday (June 4) at the Durban ICC and will also be broadcast live on SABC 1.
