FNB’s technical glitches annoy customers

First National Bank (FNB) customers have lashed out at the bank following network glitches which started over the weekend.

The bank said it was experiencing a national technical shutdown on Sunday and would sort out the matter as quickly as possible‚ but it seemed clients were still facing issues on Monday.

“FNB apologises to customers experiencing intermittent issues using our banking services. We are urgently working to restore all channels‚” the bank said on Monday.

Customers complained that they were unable to use their bank cards at ATMs‚ in stores or at banks.

Dillan Sadler tweeted: “@FNBSA You are INCOMPETENT anyway its nothing new. One problem after the other with FNB. Its 2016 how useless can a modern system be.”
