A police VIP protection unit officer who allegedly shot dead a 17-year-old Dale College pupil is under investigation by the police’s watchdog body.
The pupil, Anathi Qabisisa, was shot during the school’s 156th reunion celebrations on May 15.
King William’s Town police spokeswoman Captain Siphokazi Mawisa confirmed that a murder docket had been handed over to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid).
