Three people were injured when the driver of a Toyota Etios they were in overturned on the R63 road near King Williams Town.
There were no other vehicles involved in the accident that happened just before 10am.
All three occupants are receiving medical treatment on the scene.
The driver was traveling towards King William's Town from Dimbaza at the time of the accident.
Provincial traffic officials are on the scene directing traffic.
Some motorists have stopped on the side of the road and are observing as the injured are being treated for broken limbs
