President Jacob Zuma will lead a high-level delegation to the Eastern Cape on Monday to try and unite the deeply divided province.
Zuma and a team of top officials will meet with leaders of all the regions.
This was revealed by ANC national spokesman Zizi Kodwa on the sidelines of a press conference, where secretary- general Gwede Mantashe said the Oscar Mabuyane-led provincial executive committee (PEC) will remain in place while Luthuli House decide whether to nullify the chaotic conference at the East London ICC.
