Rebel councillors face music

Tomorrow is D-Day for the 21 BCM rebel councillors who voted against the ruling party’s caucus decision to present their side of the story.

This after the provincial executive committee (PEC) decided the group should be charged for defying party orders.

The group include deputy mayor Zoliswa Matana, Mandela memorial funds accused Sindiswa Gomba, Crosby Kolela, Gwebile Gosani, Ayanda Mapisa and head of corporate services Sindile Toni.

They were found to have voted with opposition parties in council, who preferred Nonceba Mbali-Majeng as acting municipal manager instead of the ANC’s choice of Ncumisa Sdukwana.
