NFD rookies Mthatha Bucks have parted ways with head coach Julius Dube, for the second time in just three months.
According to the club's COO Doctor Tukute, Dube resigned seeing the results were not coming and “club has accepted the resignation”.
Dube said he was at peace with the situation although he believed that poor results cannot be laid squarely on the the coach's door.
“I can confirm that I have parted ways with Mthatha Bucks and I wish them luck in their future endeavours,” said Dube.
“To be honest with you, I am at peace with myself and the decision because that is the nature of the work I do and I saw my road coming to an end immediately after the 2-0 loss against Highland Park last Saturday.”
The Mthatha outfit is bottom of the log standings with a paltry four points in 10 outings after managing only four draws and yet to win a match.
The club's former captain Sibusiso “Phopho” Mapompo and MacDonald Mukasi will be the caretaker coaches for the upcoming game against Royals Eagles at Mthatha Stadium on Saturday, said Tukute.
