Central’s vote of confidence

EAST London Central Local Football Association hosted its annual congress on Saturday at North End stadium where the entire executive committee was unanimously reinstated.

There were also four additions to the committee: Marvin Franz was appointed director of the legal and constitutional affairs committee; Vuyo Zambodla took over the youth football affairs committee; Martin Trerrise was appointed head of the commercial and marketing advisory board; and Lazola Poyo was elected assistant secretary.

The head of membership affairs Shane Benny was elevated to vice-chairman.

The association will host its annual prize-giving ceremony on November 20 at the North End clubhouse, where Bunkers West chairman Abel Iglesias and SA Federation great, Geoffrey Gamiet, will be the main guest speakers. The rest of the East London Central LFA executive committee is:
