Continuing the impressive recent trend of local water polo players making South African sides, a further four players have made the national U16 girls and boys water polo teams.
Selborne College duo Ridge Snelling and Nolan Kemp made the South African U16 boys team to tour Malta in July, while Stirling High School’s Xanthe Ibbotson and Hudson Park’s Rebecca Ansell were selected for the South African U16 girls team to tour Auckland in New Zealand, also in July.
These four will now be aiming to impress in their respective tournaments and to keep building their growing reputations on the South African water polo front.
