Proteas all-rounder JP Duminy admitted the team was fired up to seal the clean sweep when they take on Bangladesh in the third and final one day match of the series at Buffalo Park tomorrow.

Duminy was talking to the media after today's training session and stressed the importance of the team continuing where they left off after taking an unassailable two nil lead on Wednesday.

“Something that we spoke about before the series started was that we wanted to walk away three nil and that is still our main focus,” said Duminy.

“Yes we have had two amazing games but it doesn't take away what the goal is, which is to go out there tomorrow and put in a solid performance and walk away with a clean sweep.”

Bangladesh will however be fired up themselves for the encounter as they look to break a four match losing streak (including the two tests) against the hosts and take some momentum into the coming T20 series

“Bangladesh are a team that are always going to give their best and challenge us in certain departments and I think the key for us is to focus on what we are trying to do and that has been the important factor in the last two games,” explained Duminy.

“Fortunately for us we have blown them away in all departments so far, but that doesn't take away what will happen tomorrow.

“I still believe that Bangladesh are going to come out and try to prove a point and get back into this tour.”

With Hashim Amla rested for the match there will definitely be one change to the line up, however a couple of other fringe players could get a chance to impress as well in tomorrow's game.

Recent test debutant Aiden Markram has been called up as a replacement for Amla, while Temba Bavuma and uncapped teenager Wiaan Mulder are the other two players in the squad who have yet to get on the park and they could all be in with a shot of playing tomorrow.

“Well obviously Hashim has been officially rested so there is a spot up for grabs,” said Duminy.

“In terms of the other places I am not quite sure who will come in and who will be rested but obviously it does open up a few opportunities for guys to get a chance, so we will have to wait and see who the selectors pick for the game.”

The conditions are looking perfect for cricket tomorrow with a clear hot day on the cards, however the pitch could be the friendliest that the visitors have played on yet and they will hope to take advantage of that.

The Proteas will however be looking to get off to a fast start in the morning so to give themselves the best chance of claiming another dominant win.

“The field looks good, it looks a decent pitch, it is generally a wicket that is a little bit low and slow so for us in terms of our game plan it is just making sure that we are equipped for that and making sure that our game plan is set in order to face the conditions,” claimed Duminy.

“The first hour is always crucially important in terms of what we do, and we will just have to be ready for whatever happens.”

The match gets under way at 10am tomorrow morning.
