THREE people were killed when a bakkie they were travelling in overturned and crashed in a village outside Libode.
The accident occurred this afternoon when the bakkie carrying more than 10 people was travelling from Libode town to separate villages.
The accident occurred in Makotyana location. Six people were injured and rushed to hospital by two ambulances that attended to the scene.
King Sabata Dalindyebo traffic spokesman Tshepo Machaea said police were still on the scene collecting information.
"The details of the accident are still sketchy but we know that the bakkie was carrying 10 people and that three of them died of injuries they sustained. The bakkie was coming from town and it is quite a distance where the accident took place," Machaea said.
