Funeral notice: UYINENE (UTHIXO) MRWETYANA

The Mzamo and Mrwetyana family is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of their daughter UYINENE (UTHIXO) MRWETYANA.

Born on the 20th of April 2000 Nene was tragically taken from us on the 24th of August 2019.  

All who knew our Nene (Uiui) can attest to the fact that she stood firm and spoke out against any form of injustice. She was bubbly, caring and outspoken and brought her light wherever she went. At the tender age of 19 Nene was at the prime of her life and could not wait to complete her studies so that she could explore and travel the world.

Having studied at Hudson Park in East London and completed her matric at Kingswood College, Nene was in the first year of her Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies at the University of Cape Town.
