More than 20,000 people queued to see former president Nelson Mandela's body lying in state at the Union Buildings, in Pretoria, the City of Tshwane said on Thursday."We have activated three park-and-rides.... Mandela's body is lying in state at the site where he was inaugurated as the country's first democratically elected president in 1994.
He died at his home in Johannesburg last Thursday at the age of 95. He will be buried in Qunu, in the Eastern Cape, on Sunday.
