Motorists travelling between East London and Port Elizabeth tomorrow may have to plan ahead of their journey as the N2 between Grahamstown and the Fish River Pass will be temporarily closed.
According to the South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd (Sanral) the route will close for at least one hour between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
The closure is expected to take place approximately 34km East of Grahamstown.
In a notice from this road agency, Sanral’s Southern Region’s manager advised motorists to plan for their trips accordingly.
“Motorists are requested to plan their trips accordingly and be cautious when making use of the road,” he said.
Motorists told to be wary of N2 road closure
