Five arrested for rape in Lusikisiki

Five Eastern Cape men were arrested for allegedly raping a 28-year-old woman in Lusikisiki at the weekend.
According to provincial police spokesman captain Khaya Tonjeni, the woman was asleep when five suspects kicked their way into her home.
“It is alleged that on November 23 the woman was sleeping at her homestead and she heard someone kicking the doors and five males raped her.”
Tonjeni said police searched for the gang and they were all arrested at Luzupu village on Sunday.
“Their ages are between 16 and 24 years. Those who are under age were handed to a probation officer. Three were detained in Lusikisiki cells. They will appear before the magistrate's court in Lusikisiki soon,” Tonjeni said...
