A cloudy and cold day lies ahead for East London. A maximum temperature of only 22°C is expected on Thursday.
The morning will kick off with a moderate north westerly wind which will become an easterly to north easterly wind by late morning, according to the South African Weather Service.
The eastern half of the province will be cloudy south of the escarpment. Elsewhere the region will be partly cloudy and cool to warm, becoming fine from the north.
Winds along the coast will be a moderate to fresh westerly to north westerly, eventually becoming easterly to north easterly from midday.
The western half of the province should be cloudy to partly cloudy in the south.
Fine and cool to warm temperatures can be anticipated. The winds along the coast will be a light to moderate northerly to north westerly, later becoming a fresh easterly to north easterly. There will be strong south-easterly winds in the west.
