Suspected serial robbers nabbed

Swift action by police in East London this week netted two suspects who seem to have been behind a spate of robberies in the Vincent area.
Police spokesperson Captain Mluleki Mbi said a vehicle owner had caught two men, aged between 23 and 26, “fiddling” inside her car on Wednesday.
“[The men] managed to flee in a white VW Polo, but fortunately the owner was vigilant enough to take the car’s registration number.
“The suspects were traced to a house at NU11, Mdantsane, and were arrested.
“Police searched the house and found a black bag containing cellphones, 3G cards, hard drives, routers, various luxury car keys, computer devices, headphones, remote controls, wristwatches and a rubber-stamp device.”
Cambridge police station commander Brigadier Pumla Mdlankomo said anyone who could identify any of the recovered items should go to the police station. The suspects will appear in court on Monday...
