WELL-known Mthatha businessman Zwelinzima Dweba is celebrating his birthday in style and has invited popular South African performers for an epic three-day celebration.
“This is my actual birthday and we are expecting a lot of people to come through. Generations actor Anga Makubalo, also known as MJ, will launch his album for the first time in the province.”
Performers through the day are Big Nuz, Makubalo (also known as Naaq Music), Bhar, DJ Palture, Pakes, Martin, Afro Boys, Master Candi and more.
“We have a combination of national artists and local.
The idea of this annual birthday party is to celebrate with people I’ve worked with over the years and give local artists a platform,” he said.
On Sunday the party goes to the Nongoloza’s Car Wash near Ultra City where DJs like Tulz, Twitty, Master Jam, Solly, Ben 10, Zyakes, Phoenix, Funksta and more are booked to play.
General tickets for today and tomorrow’s show cost R100 before 11pm and R150 afterwards.
A VIP experience is R350 and tickets are limited. On Sunday, tickets are R30 before 3pm and R60 after.
