The case against murder-accused Christopher Panayiotou and Sizwezakhe Vumazonke was postponed in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate’s court on Thursday.

Panayiotou‚ 28‚ and alleged hitman Vumazonke‚ 30‚ will be back in court on September 28‚ when the case is transferred to the high court.

They are facing charges of murder‚ conspiracy to commit murder and kidnapping‚ among other charges‚ in connection with abduction and murder of Panayiotou’s wife‚ Jayde‚ in April this year.

The charges against alleged middle man Luthando Siyoli‚ 31‚ were withdrawn earlier this week.

Panayiotou is suspected of paying Siyoli a large sum of money to organise someone to murder his wife.

Siyoli‚ who has turned state witness‚ in turn‚ allegedly hired Vumazonke to carry out the hit.

Jayde was abducted outside her Kabega Park townhouse complex at about 6.30am on April 21.

Her body was found on a farm in Rocklands near Uitenhage the next day.
