WATCH: Protesters blockade roads in Keiskammahoek

Keiskammahoek came to a standstill today. This as residents blockaded roads leading to and out of the small town.

SA National Civic Organisation (Sanco) chairman in the area Gugulethu Siwendu said they did not get a response to a petition they handed over to government in March.

Cooperative governance and traditional affairs MEC Fikile Xasa accepted the petition on behalf of government.

Siwendu said the protests will continue until government responded. This is a developing story.
