Competencies:

• Intro to SAMTRAC
• SAMTRAC
• ASHEPP
• Valid competency certificates for Firefighting, First Aider, Fall Planner, HIRA
• Computer Literacy
• Good Communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Decision making ability
• Team working skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Three Years’ experience in Construction work
• Proof of registration with SACPCMP

Responsibilities

• Ability to compile Site Health and Safety files
• Ability to conduct Safety Inductions, Toolbox talks
• Attend Site, Technical and Progress meetings
• Assist appointed Accident /Incident Investigator/ oversee the reporting and investigating of project related incidents/accidents
• Enforce health and safety guidelines
• Oversee maintenance of records
