A jealous Mdantsane taxi driver who came out of prison early last year to find his wife having an affair with another man, went to the new boyfriend’s home in NU2 and stabbed his wife multiple times, killing her on the spot, was today sent straight to jail by the local regional court.
The 31-year-old Lizwi Saliwa, a father of three minor children, was sentenced to 15 years by the regional court for the murder of his wife Nokubonga Saliwa early last year.
Nokubonga, 29, died in a pool of blood, inside her boyfriend’s home kitchen on the afternoon of January 21 2017.
This after being stabbed three times by her jealous husband, infront of her boyfriend’s niece who was one of the key state witnesses in the case.
