Prominent Mdantsane businessman Mzimkhulu Nomnganga’s bail application hearing was postponed for Tuesday at the Mdantsane Magistrate’s Court on Monday morning.

Judge Noluntu Mkwali  granted the case’s investigation officer’s plea to postpone the hearing for June 12  due to the investigator  being on sick leave.

Nomnganga, 48 , is currently in police custody facing  cases  of  intimidation and  assault GBH for allegedly sending death threats  to his ex-girlfriend, Unathi Miti, 29,  and allegedly stabbing her while out of jail on warning pending investigation.

When the Dispatch visited the court, a  spirited Miti was surrounded by friends and family in anticipation of the courts outcome.

Meanwhile it was all smiles for Nomnganga who kept winking, waving, smiling and sending thumbs up to people at the gallery.

Outside the court, about 20 members of the newly formed African Democratic Change party carried placards in solidarity with Miti that read “No bail” for Nomnganga.
