The investigating officer in the intimidation trial of a Mdantsane man who allegedly sent threatening text messages to Hawks provincial spokeswoman Captain Anelisa Feni, today conceded to court that he has no idea who had sent such messages to Feni.

This is while the top Hawks investigator, Captain Luphumlo Lwana, also revealed that the phone and the SIMcard from which such messages were sent, has never been recovered by police.

Lwana was testifying in the trial of Sithembele April, 41, who stand accused of intimidating Feni, through an SMS sent in September, which threatened to kill her if she did not resign from the Hawks within two days.
