Hundreds of desperate people are starting to queue at Gift of the Givers distribution points in Makhanda East.
Trucks have not yet arrived but people are singing and dancing and banging together there doing dings (5-litre bottles) in anticipation.
People have been without water for nine days and counting and are furious.
