Protesting University of Fort Hare students prevented staff from entering the university's Alice campus on Thursday morning by blocking the main entrance, singing and marching, while security monitored the situation.
The students are carrying placards, some written “0% fee increment, from NSFAS to the bank”.
The students at the campus have been boycotting classes since Monday over issues they have with the NSFAS allowance.
