A 62-year-old motorcyclist was killed outside East London after he his motorbike collided with the back of a bakkie on Monday afternoon.
Eastern Cape transport department spokesperson Unathi Binqose identified the dead motorcyclist as Glen Christian Botha.
He said the accident took place on the R72 between Kayser's Beach and East London near Gulu River bridge at 15.30 on Monday afternoon. Both vehicles were travelling in the direction of Port Alfred.
