Four make it on to 'Judges' hot list

It was no-holds barred when Eastern Cape candidate judges were grilled on race, transformation and even citizenship at the gritty, high-profile Judicial Service Commission hearings in Johannesburg on Wednesday.

At 6.30pm, two commission representives announced that Phillip Zilwa would be recommended for the Bhisho high court bench, Nyameko Gqamana would be recommended to the high court in Port Elizabeth, Bulelwa Pakati would be transferred from the Northern Cape to PE, and Motilal Rugunanan would go to the bench in Makhanda...
