The Buffalo City Metro is warning motorists and residents at large to exercise extra caution during these rainy and wet conditions.
On Thursday morning several reports were received by BCM, prompting emergency services to respond to various areas.
Traffic officers were on site in a flooded Pontoon road, Settlersway towards the airport.
Floods were also reported in Gloucester road, Vincent.
Technicians responded to power outages in Beacon Bay, Buffalo Flats, Cambridge West, Gonubie and Mdantsane zone 7.
Residents of Berlin had no water, due to a pump station being repaired by Amatole Water in Ndevana, which affected villages in Ndevana, Tshabo and Dongwe.
With weather predictions saying there will be consistent rain today, BCM had emergency teams on standby for traffic, water, electricity roads. Residents were urged to report emergencies on the call centre at 0861113017.
