Someone is going to win a brand new car

It is that time of year when Daily Dispatch readers dream big — the Win-A-Car competition is here again. It launches on August 29 in association with Ronnies Motors.

This year, one lucky reader will win a brand-new Suzuki S-Presso 1.0 GL+MT!

The competition runs for six weeks from August 29 to October 9. An entry form will be published daily throughout this period. The more you enter, the luckier you get!

Mdantsane resident Nandipha Kewuti’s entry was picked out of thousands of entries last year. Kewuti’s whole life did a major upswing when she became the owner of a shiny new Toyota Aygo Xplay.

“Winning the car completely changed my life. I no longer had to rely on others or public transport, I could just use my own vehicle. I have a business that demands a lot of mobility, so winning that car was exactly what I needed,” she said.

Kewuti entered five times, and was in a state of disbelief when she was notified as the winner.

“It only properly sank in when I got a text the following week inviting me to fetch my car. It was a dream come true. I encourage people to enter as many times as they can. You never know when it will be your turn to be the lucky one,” she said. “I couldn't believe it happened to me!”

Daily Dispatch marketing manager Jennilee Peremore-Oliver explained how to enter.

“An entry form will be published every day in the Daily Dispatch newspaper from Saturday August 29 until Friday October 9. You can enter as many times as you wish. Entry boxes will be available at more than 60 entry points, including the Daily Dispatch office in Beacon Bay, Ronnies Motors in Bonza Bay Road and multiple Spar, Pick 'n Pay, Boxer and Checkers stores in our region,” she said.

A complete list of entry points with addresses is on the entry form. For more information, readers can also visit the DispatchLIVE Facebook page or website, www.dispatchlive.co.za.

Shane Luck of  Kempston Motor Group Trust said the vehicle is worth R144,900, and it comes with some interesting features.

“The Suzuki S-Presso model benefits from a 2yr/30,000km service plan. This plan includes the replacement of oil, the oil filter, fuel filter, brake fluid, air filter and accessory belts, but excludes tyres, brakes and other wear-and-tear items.

“Every new S-Presso comes with a roadside assistance plan. Some of the benefits offered by this comprehensive package include battery and locksmith call-out services, mechanical and electrical, breakdown towing (accident towing is optional), emergency medical rescue, vehicle repatriation and a stand-by-you roadside security armed-response service,” Luck said. — DispatchLIVE
