AbaThembu king Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo's estranged son Prince Azenathi Dalindyebo and his wife Sikhumbulile are celebrating the birth of their second son, Moyisi [ the Conqueror].

Amid a royal rumpus over the throne of AbaThembu and souring relations with his father, Azenathi said he had ''something to smile about and focus on”.

The new bundle of joy, making him a second-time father, was a “special blessing from God'', said Azenathi.

The baby was born on Friday August 28 at Life Beacon Bay hospital in East London to the AbaThembu prince, 27, and his wife Sikhumbulile Dalindyebo, 24.

The couple were married on November 19 2016.

The relationship between Azenathi and his father has been strained in recent months with a string of court appearances and the king denying paternity. It remains to be seen whether being a grandfather will change things.

''I am just over the moon,” the proud dad  said. “At the moment I don’t want to focus on anything else except this special gift from God. I am so grateful to my wife for bringing him into this world. I hope God will guide us through his life to be good parents as we raise him.

Everyone at home is so happy, including his big brother Onesisa, who cannot stop smiling. This is a joyous moment for us. My mother is so exited to have a second grandchild.”

Onesisa Dalindyebo was born on March 10, 2017 at the same hospital.

Azenathi's mother, Queen Nocollege Dalindyebo, could not stop smiling.

''I am so happy and proud,'' she said.

The family said it was customary for a royal child to be kept in seclusion for a while before being introduced to the nation. — DispatchLIVE
