Following a spike in Covid-19 deaths and active cases, Buffalo City Metro has warned residents to tread carefully.

According to BCM, fatalities have risen from 699 to 900.

“The universities in the city have been identified as hotspot areas,” the metro said.

The city has 140 active Covid-19 cases, according to statistics released on Tuesday at the Command Center.

The metro said 92, 225 public and private tests have been conducted so far.
