Drivers face delays in traffic after the busy intersection between Fleet and Oxford streets in the CBD was closed again last week for road upgrades.
Buffalo City Metro spokeswoman Bathandwa Diamond said the roads which are the main links to the East London Airport will be reopened at the end of next month. Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes.
“Please note there will be no right turn from Oxford St into Fleet St. Please use alternative routes via Park Ave and North Street when travelling towards the airport.
“All motorists are requested to make use of alternative routes via Commissioner St and Beaconsfield Dr and Gillwell Road when travelling eastbound and Church St when travelling  westbound. BCMM apologises for the inconvenience,” she said...
