Nahoon boardwalk vandalised

The Nahoon Reef Boardwalk has seemingly been vandalised and has got local residents complaining on Facebook.
When the Dispatch visited the boardwalk this morning there were many sections of railing missing at least a few posts. There is also a stretch of about six metres which has seemingly had its railing knocked right off leaving a long bare stretch with just a drop.
Further along the boardwalk when heading towards Nahoon Reef there is a staircase which leads down to a lookout point which is missing railings and a step.
Kevin Cole, the chair of the Nahoon Point Nature Reserve, said that he was aware of the damages which he put down to a mixture of wear and tear and human vandalism.
Cole said that he had alerted BCM as well as spoken to the rangers about the issue last week...
