Coach Hugo Broos has announced his Bafana Bafana starting line-up for the important 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe in Harare on Friday (3pm).

Bafana take on the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Harare National Sports Stadium, looking to start their World Cup qualification programme on a good note and boost morale ahead of Monday’s clash with the Black Stars of Ghana at FNB Stadium.

The spine of the new-look Bafana squad sees captain Ronwen Williams between the poles and Rushine De Reuck of Mamelodi Sundowns and Siyanda Xulu of Hapoel Tel Aviv as the two central defenders.

In the midfield, Mothobi Mvala of Sundowns has brushed off a groin niggle to partner Teboho Mokoena of SuperSport United where they will be up against Blessing Sarupinda of Sekhukhune United and Marshall Munetsi of Stade Reims in France.

The attacking responsibilities for Bafana will be for the likes of Percy Tau of Al Ahly, Gift Links of Danish Superliga club Aarhus, Luther Singh of Danish club Copenhagen and Evidence Makgopa of Baroka.
