The 4km part of the race is disability friendly, with R10 of each entry going to the Sweethearts Foundation. Spar will select a beneficiary to receive the wheelchair.
People are reminded to keep the environment in mind during the event and to not litter. Refuse bins will be available throughout the route. Participants are asked not to wear headphones. This is to prevent people from not hearing danger warnings. Registration for the run closes on Saturday at 1pm.
