SHIRLEY Bezuidenhout who co-runs Breath of Life place of safety in East London has been nominated in the 2014 Business Women’s Association (BWA) regional achiever awards in the social entrepreneur category.
The list of regional finalists in six categories has been released by BWA ahead of a gala awards ceremony that will take place on July 26 in East London.
Bezuidenhout started the safe house in 2009 with the aim of assisting teenage girls with unplanned pregnancies, and to protect babies who had either been abandoned or neglected.
