Dramatic three-hour rescue of puppy

EAST London’s emergency and animal rescue services came out in full force to mount a dramatic three-hour rescue of a puppy that had plummeted down a cliff on the West Bank side of the port.

Now the young fire-fighter who risked her life to pluck the Labrador-cross pup off a 25 metre-high ledge says she would like to adopt him and call him Cliffie if his owners are not found.
