Hundreds of people packed into the Port Alfred Baptist Church this morning for a memorial service for murdered businessman Noel Maddocks.
The popular surfer was stabbed to death last week. Maddocks' 12-year-old daughter, Grace, gave a moving tribute to her father saying she was not sure what was worse -- the heartache of what happened to him or the fact she will never see him again.
Many of the more than 400 people packed into the church wiped away the tears during the moving memorial.
Last night more than 50 surfers paddled out with flowers while dozens more watched from the beach.
