Five people including two children were killed during a head-on collision between a Toyota Quantum and Renault SUV on the N2 outside Tsolo.

“Unfortunately five people are deceased including two children. Only one child survived. A six year-old child who has since been transferred to Dr Malizo Mpehle Memorial Hospital is in a critical condition,” Kupelo said.
The cause of the accident is not clear at this stage.
Another life was lost after a Toyota Fortuner overturned while travelling on the rural gravel road in Muku Village, Dutywa.
It is alleged that the driver lost control of the vehicle before it overturned causing the passenger serious injuries.
The passenger died upon arrival at the Idutywa Health Centre.
