A huge fountain of water was sent gushing into the air after a water pipe burst in Gladstone Street in the CBD this morning.

Onlookers were spotted watching from the sidelines and taking pictures as cars took turns to pass under the water. The incident didn't appear to affect traffic. The cause of the problem is not known yet.
Luzuko Koka said the water had been pouring since early morning. “It has been like this for over 30 minutes. They should come and fix it immediately.”
Questions have been sent to Buffalo City Metro Municipality.
