A 55-year-old man has died after his small aircraft crashed in Tylden near Komani on Sunday morning.
Komani police spokesperson Captain Namhla Mdleleni said the aircraft went down at about 7.30am. The pilot was travelling with a cousin at the time.
“The 55-year-old man died on the scene while the passenger sustained serious injuries. The passenger was rushed to an East London hospital and is critically injured,” she said.
