In the video, hundreds of other inmates, many of whom are standing shoulder to shoulder, are seen cheering those playing the match.
DispatchLIVE has launched an investigation and has sent questions to the department for comment.

78 Covid-19 positive cases in Eastern Cape prisons, East London cases up by 49
Earlier on Tuesday, the department announced the that the number of inmates testing positive for Covid-19 at the East London correctional facility in West Bank had increased by 49 cases.
Correctional services minister Ronald Lamola said there were 26 cases at the prison on Sunday.
