In solidarity with American protests against racism and the recent murders of George Floyd and South African Collins Khoza, both in the hands of law enforcement agencies, the EFF in the Eastern Cape on Monday held peaceful protests across the province.

In Buffalo City Metro, three protest actions were held in East London, King William's Town and  Mdantsane, where small groups of party members and supporters picketed outside respective police stations.

Similar solidarity protests were held in towns such as Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage, Mthatha, Komani, Aliwal North and Mount Fletcher.
