Durban musicians and artists brought traffic on the N3 to a standstill on Wednesday demanding to be allowed to perform at 70% capacity.

N3 near Spaghetti Junction was completely closed off and a mobile stage set up as musicians and theater  artists

"We want the president to open the county and allow 70% capacity at events. We want to work with government we aren't greedy that is why we are only asking for 70%. Artists have been starving for the last eight months," Kwaito star Tzozo told TimesLive.

Artists that were present included Dj Tira, Nqom star Dladla Mshunqisi and Babes Wodumo.

Metro police spokesperson Snr Superintendent Parboo Sewpersad said that all necessary law enforcement were on scene. Police fired stun grenade  and rubber bullets to disperse the crowd.
