Liquor to your door

Two students are taking the idea of supply and demand to the next level and starting on Saturday they will deliver alcohol to people around Mthatha.
Thato Jevu and Apiwe Gebeda, both 22, have decided to start Mthatha Bottles Services, that takes alcohol orders and delivers to people’s homes.
With the motto: “why look for a liquor store when liquor can come to you”, the young men say they want to provide convenience for Mthatha people.
They are using cash-on-delivery as a payment method.
They will be delivering to people in a 15km radius from the Mthatha CBD at a minimum cost of R50.
“We are also concerned about the number of road accidents because of drinking,” Jevu said.
Besides alcohol, they will also take orders for cooldrink and ice. The minimum for each order is R50 with the maximum being R1,000.
“We have been saving so we have the start-up capital. We will not be delivering to U18s.”
He said he and Gebeda did not drink and both had valid drivers licences...
