BVI ENGINEERING PROCIREMENT MANAGEMENT

PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST OR ENGINEER 

BVI Border (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a Civil Engineering Technologist or Engineer. BVI is a multi-disciplinary firm which offers Professional Services to the public and private sector and specialises in:

Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, EPCM, Project Management and Town Planning. This is an Affirmative Action position.

Key Responsibilities

• Form part of an existing design office

• Design experience in township roads and general Civil Works, including structural experience on minor structures

• Compilation of Feasibility Reports, Design Reports &Tender Adjudication Reports

• Compilation of Tender Documents and Technical Specifications

• Conducting site inspections, site progress and technical meetings

• Technical support to Senior Project Managers and Project Directors

• Overall Contract/Project Management

• Interaction with Clients

Key Requirements

• Must have B.Tech Eng or B Eng/Bsc degree in Civil Engineering as a minimum requirement

• Must be registered as a Pr.Tech Eng or B Eng for at least 3 years

• 3-5 years minimum post graduate experience

• Valid driver’s licence

• Must be East London based or willing to relocate

• Have experience with the following Computer Software Programs:

AutoCAD, Civils 3D, MSOffice, Excel
